Frequently Asked Questions

Yes we welcome dogs at Vale Farm Cottages free of charge. We kindly ask that dogs are kept on leads around the farm due to the amount of livestock around the cottages and farm.

We request that all dogs are fully housetrained, puppies should be over 6 months of age (out of their chewing stage) and are not left on their own due to their young age. Generally we allow dogs to be left alone, as long as they will not become distressed.

We ask that dogs are left without access to the bedrooms or living room. If you wish to bring your own blankets for sofas please do, otherwise please do not allow dogs on the beds or sofas.

We accept 2 dogs in Wild Cherry, Chestnut, Hornbeam and Walnut and up to 3 dogs in Oak, Rowan and the Farmhouse. If you wish to discuss this please contact us.

Yes we have BBQs available for guests to use. They require coal- please purchase your own coal and please clean the BBQs after use. BBQs must not be used on the balconies or near the stairs of Oak.

No, we do not operate a booking system for guests to use the pool. There is a 10 person limit on the pool at any one time. We ask guests to restrict use to 1 hour during busy times. The pool is open 9am to 8pm daily. Please bring your own towels for swimming.

We do have bookings made by members of the public when the cottages are quiet or empty. We support young adults with additional needs on a Monday and Friday 1.00-2.30pm where the pool is closed to all.
