Vale Farmhouse
Overview
Vale Farmhouse is a beautifully renovated traditional stone farmhouse, ideal for large families or walking groups looking for accommodation near the Brecon Beacons. Sleeping up to ten guests across four flexible bedrooms, this dog-friendly property includes two cosy lounges, a spacious farmhouse kitchen, private enclosed garden, and a six-person hot tub with views over the hills. Inside, you’ll find all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi, TV with streaming services, a dishwasher, oven, hob, and a fridge freezer.
Key Information
As you step into Vale Farmhouse, you’ll find two lovely living rooms. The main lounge has a 50-inch smart TV (with guest mode so you can use your own streaming accounts), a huge corner sofa, a cosy cuddle chair and a wood-burning stove for quiet evenings in. We’ll supply plenty of logs for your stay.The second lounge, known as the blue room, is a great social space with a darts board, a TV ready for games consoles, a comfy sofa and a table perfect for board games or cards.The kitchen opens out into a bright conservatory with beautiful views across the fields. It's a peaceful place to enjoy a morning coffee or wind down in the evening.
The kitchen is traditional and full of character, with everything you need for your stay. There’s an American-style fridge freezer, a separate drinks fridge, a dishwasher, a range oven with hob and a large oak dining table that brings everyone together. The old aga is no longer in use but is a lovely feature, and you’re welcome to use the overhead clothes airer.
You’ll also find a large utility room with a washing machine and plenty of space to store a pram or dog crate. There’s also a handy downstairs toilet.
Upstairs, there are four generous bedrooms that sleep up to ten people.
- Bedrooms 1 and 4 have a super king zip-and-link bed, along with either a single or triple single beds.
- Bedrooms 2 and 3 have super king zip-and-link beds that can also be set up as twins.
This layout gives you lots of flexibility, especially for walking groups or families.
All bedrooms include oak bedside tables, a built-in wardrobe and an oak dressing table with a hairdryer.
There are two bathrooms upstairs. One has a stunning roll-top bath with countryside views, a large rainfall shower, a sink and a toilet. The second bathroom has a double electric shower, a sink and a toilet.
As the upstairs is carpeted, we kindly ask that dogs stay downstairs.
We can also provide up to two travel cots and highchairs free of charge if you’re travelling with little ones.
Outside, Vale Farmhouse has a large enclosed garden with a six-person hot tub, a grassy area for play, and a BBQ. There’s outdoor seating too, so you can make the most of the view over the Brecon Beacons on sunny evenings.
There’s also private parking, and up to three dogs are welcome to stay with you.
